Temp was to low to be so cold outside could not set thermostat. Poor lighting when arrived.. the lights were not on at front door had to use a flashlight to see to push code in. No lights on in lobby area had to feel around for light switch.

It was the worst experience of my life, it was way over priced the room was tiny and the owner is a terrible person who will make you leave before your checkout time and curse at you for not hurrying. Do not get a room at a place to stay it's no place to stay

It was a very very bad experience! one horrible night, i got bitten by bed bugs. avoid this place. cockroach in the bathroom! horrible!!! run away

This was a bit different, what a useful wait to do an old doctors office, call the exam rooms are now like bedrooms, with two shared bathrooms. I would imagine the two shared bathrooms would be congested when busy but I think there was only one other room rented when I stayed. It was pretty nice. They've got a kitchen that you can use

It is what it is - a place to stay! It was the best deal I could get in the Fredericksburg/Kerrville/Boerne area for the night I needed to book a stay. Good for travelers passing through and need a place to rest their head. Easy in and out; hosts communicated clearly through Airbnb. I like that the former doctors office space has been repurposed as cozy, affordable accommodations. My main suggestion for improvement is cleanliness. My room was fine, except a few things in the small attached kitchenette room - coffee maker was dirty, there was a leftover wash cloth from the last guest, and when I went to plug something in, I discovered a pair of socks hanging on the microwave cord underneath the counter; I took a shower in the bathroom located in the communal kitchen area and it definitely needs to be cleaned. It wasn't unusable, of course, but I wished I had thought to bring some shower sandals. Overall decent place, just could be better with a little extra care.

Cute place but needs a thorough cleaning and fumigation. Two towels and wash rags for 2 couples for 3 nights. Very well worn sheets. Oh and be sure and check your dishes before you use them! Offered suggestions in a personal email explaining it was suggestions and didn’t want a refund and wouldn’t blast on social media. The response was “Happy Mother’s Day!” Seriously?!

We left the place in WAY better condition than we found it.

Then they had the nerve to leave us negative feedback after I couldn’t leave feedback for them on Airbnb.

Seriously will never be staying with “A Place to Stay” again.

Loved it here. It was definitely worth the price. I will admit that I did not read the entire description when I booked room, however their description is very accurate not misleading at all. It is exactly as the name reads A Place to Stay. It is a medical office converted to a place to stay. It is decorated to fit the Bandera western theme and everything was very clean. I believe most rooms were occupied when I was there, and I never heard any noise and the communal restrooms were not an issue at all. I will definitely be back!
